Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is Micropigmentation is it the same as Microblading?
A: Micropigmentation also known as Permanent makeup (PMU)
or Semi-Permanent makeup (SPMU) is cosmetic tattooing

surface (epidermis) in order to enhance facial features.
Microblading is also a Cosmetic Tattooing only difference is that
that each hair stroke is created by hand using a blade which
creates fine slices in the skin, whereas Micropigmentation
procedures are done with a machine and single needle.
Micropigmentation has been medically developed and designed fora safe permanent makeup application, it is state of art technique of creating realistic and semi-permanent eyebrows.Permanent makeup creates makeup that does not wash off, looks good, is soft and extremely natural looking and can last from 1 to 3 years. From natural hair stroke, powder or combination eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner and blush blend you can have makeup that lasts 24/7.Cosmetic tattooing when done correctly is not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional body tattoos so will fade as your skin wears and regenerates. Everyone bodies will process the pigment differently, as well as your lifestyle choices affecting the longevity of the cosmetic tattoo.

A: Nanoblading also known as Permanent (Semi-permanent)makeup treatment is a form of Cosmetic Tattooing but it’s not as deep as conventional tattooing, as we are only going through the top layer of the skin into the upper dermis. Each hair stroke is carefully etched into the skin, creating that incredibly natural appearance of real hair. The pigment colours used are chosen to suit your skin tone.

A: This can vary from person to person and depending on individual pain thresholds and the procedures performed. Some clients report a slight scratchy feeling and others say they feel hardly anything at all. Every effort is made to minimise the discomfort for the client and prior to the procedure, before and during the procedure creams are applied and to help minimise any discomfort.

A: You will require two treatments to truly get the best from your permanent make up. The first treatment sets the look and creates the shape and the follow up procedure called the ‘top up’ will create depth and reinforce the colour ensuring as long-lasting result as possible. My tattooing technique is not deep as a traditional body art tattooing and requires a light, layered application to ensure natural, believable results are achieved. The top up appointment is scheduled usually after 4 to 6 weeks, but not later than 3 months after your first visit.

A: Immediately after the treatment you may experience some mild
swelling and redness, which will subside between 2 – 4 hours. Most
normal activities can be resumed immediately after the procedure.
The treated area will look considerably darker about 30-50% for a
few days after and as the skin heals and rejuvenates, the colour will
soften and lighten, revealing a more natural desired look.
